rAVe: Can you give us an example of concrete efforts your company is making to be more sustainable?

RV: From a technical perspective our focus on reducing power consumption on our newest generation CLED portfolio, decreasing overall carbon footprint with our Pro Bravia lineup, the eco dashboard on our Pro Bravia displays, our full array local dimming of the lighting on the Pro Bravia displays which reduces power consumption, the use of Sorplas on many of existing and all of our upcoming Pro Bravia displays and focus on reduction of e-waste by eliminating components in our boxes.

From a packaging perspective: reduction of ink on outside boxes, focusing on zero polysterene foam where possible and cutting CO2 emissions by focusing on smaller/lighter packaging.
