Dubbed the B-Series (for Basic Displays), the new line of Sony LCDs include three new models — a 55″ in the FWD-55B2 , a 46″ in the FWD-46B2 and a 42″ in the FWD-42B2. All three are LED-backlit and native 1920×1080, plus are specified at 400-500 cd/m2 brightness and with a 4000:1 contrast ratio. They are also less than 4″ deep.
Features include an image screen-saver that moves the screen to prevent burn-in and an Eco-mode that lowers power consumption in low light applications. They use a VESA 400×400 mounting system and will ship in late July.
