SnapAV announced Thursday it will acquire Access Networks later this month. The acquisition will expand SnapAV’s networking portfolio and solutions, and add new products and services such as system design, configuration, monitoring and support.

“Adding Access Networks to the SnapAV portfolio enables our partners to tackle any size commercial or residential network project,” GPaul Hess, SnapAV chief product officer, said. “More SnapAV partners can now do more complex networking jobs with greater confidence, knowing that they are supported by Access Networks.

Access Networks designs and maintains network solutions. Added feature sets and usability-focused solutions include Wi-Fi 6, Control4, OvrC, Wattbox, Araknis, Pakedge and other programs.

According to Access Networks, it aims to provide what partners need to solve their customer’s most challenging networking problems. Partners will be able to deliver rapid proposals to clients that include design, hardware configuration, monitoring and support. Access Networks also provides a series of networking experts that provide custom solutions and designs for every project.

On the acquisition, Access Networks President Hagai Feiner said, “This acquisition signals the start of the next great chapter in the history of Access Networks. SnapAV enables us to scale at an unprecedented rate in our core market while enabling us to develop and fully commercialize new market opportunities.”

Access Networks’ products will be available through SnapAV’s e-commerce platform and in a network of Local Pro Stores within the next few months.
