Snap One Announces International Availability of ClareVision Color At Night Series IP Surveillance Cameras at ISE 2023

Snap One ClareVisionSnap One has announced the international availability of the ClareVision Color At Night series IP surveillance cameras that leverage wider apertures, Sony Starvis sensors and integrated LED lighting to deliver improved nighttime visibility.

By replacing IR illuminators with newer technologies, the Color At Night series eliminates IR reflections from rain or snow while using PoE, and the integrated light enables installation in unlit, unpowered locations without the need for new high-voltage wiring. This can reduce the cost of surveillance installations across full properties, as both the camera and LED light operate on low-voltage wiring that doesn’t require a licensed electrician or conduit. It’s an ideal solution for properties with little or no exterior lighting or dark spots, such as alleys or landscaping. Users can even adjust the LED lighting intensity, so no location is off-limits.

Where infrared cameras provide black-and-white nighttime imaging, the new Color At Night series captures full-color images in low-light environments and even in complete darkness with the help of the integrated warm white LEDs. This leap in capability offers homeowners and businesses greater nighttime security and peace of mind, providing much clearer videos with greater detail that can help identify bad actors after a security incident.

The Color At Night series includes 4-megapixel and 8-megapixel models with a fixed 2.8-millimeter lens in either bullet or turret style, plus 8-megapixel models in bullet or turret style with a motorized 2.7-millimeter to 13.5-millimeter varifocal lens. The 8-megapixel models can record up to 4K resolution at 25 frames per second. The 4-megapixel models come with a 32GB micro SD memory card, and both the 4-megapixel and 8-megapixel models support micro SD cards up to 512GB.
