Shure has announced a new integration that allows its MoveMic wireless microphones to pair directly with Haivision’s MoJoPro app, eliminating the need for an external receiver.

The MoveMic system — often used by mobile journalists and on-the-go content creators — can now connect to iOS and Android devices through the MoJoPro app without occupying the device’s USB port. The integration enables users to wirelessly connect up to two lavalier microphones within the app, allowing for two-channel audio during live broadcasts or recorded interviews.

MoJoPro, developed by Haivision, is a free mobile app tailored for professional broadcast workflows. It offers features such as video return, audio intercom and basic editing tools, enabling users to produce live content remotely and transmit it in real time.

The update streamlines mobile workflows for journalists and broadcasters by removing the need for additional hardware and simplifying the process of capturing high-quality audio on location.
