Sharp Ships Windows Collaboration Display With Microsoft Skype for Business

Sharp Windows Collaboration Display

Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA) announced it’s shipping the world’s first Windows Collaboration Display (WCD) with Microsoft’s Skype for Business certification. The native 4K 70-inch is integrated with Microsoft Azure Digital Twins to monitor collaboration spaces.

The Sharp Windows Collaboration Display is marketed as the world’s first large-format interactive display to achieve Skype for Business certification. Complete with an integrated camera with a 4K sensor, far-field microphone/speakers and USB-C connectivity, WCD also provides a single connection for additional third-party accessories (external mics, speakers or cameras).

The Sharp Windows Collaboration Display also has built-in sensors that can connect to the Microsoft Azure Digital Twins IoT platform and other commercially available cloud and subscription services. These include the upcoming Sharp Synappx WorkSpaces, as part of a smart building environment.

The 70-inch Sharp Windows Collaboration Display includes Sharp’s “pen-on-paper” experience and a 10-point PCAP capacitive touch surface.

Here are all the specs.
