Sharp Corporation of Australia announced the unification of its product lines with NEC Display Solutions, a move that “was expected as it follows the global merger of the two companies that started in Japan, moved to the USA, then Europe and now the APAC and ANZ regions.”

This strategic integration will see a “comprehensive alignment of the display technology offerings of Sharp and NEC under the umbrella of Sharp Corporation of Australia.” Effective immediately, clients and partners of both companies will gain access to an “expanded suite of products and an enhanced service model designed to fulfill the diverse needs of businesses and enterprises.”

The consolidation aims to leverage the combined strengths of Sharp and NEC, incorporating NEC’s line of display solutions within the expanded portfolio of Sharp Corporation of Australia.

The transition will be overseen by the existing NEC Display Solutions team. During and after the consolidation, all existing product support, warranty and service agreements will remain in effect.
