Seenspire Receiving Three Creative Honors On Digital Signage’s Biggest Awards Night

phpobVobgPMLAS VEGAS – Just a year after formally opening its doors, creative services firm Seenspire will be in Las Vegas next week picking up three distinct awards for excellence in digital signage content.

The start-up company is a finalist in three categories – with just gold, silver or bronze recipients yet to be announced – at the annual DSE Content Awards on Feb. 12th that are part of Digital Signage Expo, the industry’s largest trade show.

“It’s amazing to think that we just officially launched last spring, and we’ve quickly received this level of recognition for our work,” says Richard Buhn, a co-founder of Seenspire.

“It’s a tribute to our creative team,” adds co-founder Samuel Mekonen, “but also to our visionary clients and business partners.”

Seenspire is a unique content agency that produces and distributes a broad range of automated content feeds. Delivered in Flash, Media RSS and now HTML5, the plug-and-play content feeds possess a visual flair previously unseen in the digital signage sector. The company also works with clients to develop original, full-motion creative content.

Seenspire is the only creative firm to be honored in three Content Award categories:

MULTI-PLATFORM: Seenspire’s ready-made content feeds steadily deliver Daily News, Infotainment and Did You Know messaging to digital signage network operators. Subscribers have three options of compelling motion visual styles: rolling cubes, flowing ribbons and a minimalist design. The service represents a dramatic creative advance from the scrolling news tickers seen on many digital screen networks.

TRANSPORTATION: Eindhoven Airport, located in what’s been called the world’s smartest city, turned on one of the air travel industry’s most sophisticated and visually compelling passenger communications systems in 2013. The project uses a content plan designed and delivered by Seenspire’s creative team. The centerpiece is a 12-screen video wall in the main passenger area that cycles through six distinct content modules designed to inform, alert and entertain travelers.

RETAIL: The sports and fashion brand Hummel used a holographic display and 3D animations developed by Seenspire to launch a new shoe at a large distributor and reseller event in Q1 2014. Seenspire produced a free-floating virtual shoe that deconstructed and reassembled to highlight its key features for buyers and retail executives. The program was so well received that a large retail roll-out of the holographic displays is being explored.

Mekonen is using DSE as springboard for building up the company’s global customer base. “We already have some solid partners, but I’m planning to meet with a nice selection of service providers and end-users. We think Seenspire can help drive their business success, with great creative and cost-effective, but still compelling, content.”

About The DSE Content Awards

DSE’s Content Awards were individually assessed and juried on the basis of originality in content applications developed specifically for digital signage by three independent panels, each with three industry professionals, all of whom have long worked in the digital signage sector and have developed hands-on expertise in many facets of the industry. Launched in 2004, DSE was the first event dedicated to the digital signage market and has been a significant contributor to the growth of this fast-paced industry.
