SecurityBridge’s AI-Powered Code Vulnerability Analyzer (CVA) app helps customers understand vulnerabilities in custom ABAP code.

SecurityBridge has launched an artificial intelligence-powered Code Vulnerability Analyzer aimed at helping SAP developers identify and fix flaws in custom ABAP code.

The new tool, part of SecurityBridge’s existing SAP cybersecurity platform, uses AI to analyze and explain code behavior and security risks, offering remediation guidance in real time.

“Enriching SAP security expertise with the power of AI is at the core of our innovation strategy,” said Holger Hügel, product management director at SecurityBridge. “Our approach ensures that AI enhances security practices by delivering substantial improvements over traditional methods while ensuring high user adoption.”

The Code Vulnerability Analyzer introduces two core features: an Explain ABAP Code function that breaks down complex snippets for better understanding, and a Describe Vulnerabilities tool that identifies security flaws, highlights potential threats and recommends fixes. The analyzer also flags critical ABAP programs and function modules.

Designed to streamline SAP change management, the tool gives developers immediate access to secure coding practices and integrates with SecurityBridge’s monitoring module for prioritization and workflow routing.

The company said the tool meets growing demand for AI-based automation in cybersecurity and offers SAP customers a way to proactively address evolving threats.

The Code Vulnerability Analyzer will be included in SecurityBridge Platform release 6.34, scheduled for rollout in April, at no additional cost to current platform license holders.
