ScreenBeam Targets Education Market with ScreenBeam 1000 EDU 4K Wireless Collaboration Solution

ScreenBeam today launched an education-focused solution to wireless BYOD called the ScreenBeam 1000 EDU. The new 4K wireless collaboration solution allows for content sharing, without apps, on all devices including student Chromebooks.

Specifically designed classrooms, the ScreenBeam 1000 EDU has both a local Wi-Fi mode and a Miracast mode for connectivity or network bridge functionality to enable wireless collaboration among teachers and their students — whether or not they are connected to the same network. ScreenBeam 1000 EDU acts similarly to a wired connection allowing integration of features like wireless touch for Window 10 and duplicate and extended screen modes for both Windows and MacOS users.

ScreenBeam 1000 EDU features include:

  • Native wireless screen mirroring for Windows, iOS, macOS and Android
  • 4K (3840×2160) output support
  • Collaborate wirelessly using touch displays and Windows Ink across Office 365 apps
  • Wireless display for up to 50 Windows from 10 student devices
  • Connects via HDMI and USB
  • Native extended desktop

Each ScreenBeam 1000 EDU also includes Central Management System (CMS) software to remotely manage large scale deployments across multiple locations.

ScreenBeam 1000 EDU is $599 and here are the more detailed specs.
