Savant Systems’ newest iPad App, TrueConference, is a ProAV app that the company says provides intuitive control of presentation rooms, meeting spaces and video conferencing systems via different themes.

This is an iPad App that offers a user interface for its ProAV control systems. It’s pre-loaded with dozens of themes for controlling various rooms and AV gear. Savant says the TrueConference themes enable control of unified communications (UC) technologies such as room AV systems, lighting, shading, climate control and, of course, specific AV gear in a typical system. TrueConference by Savant allows multiple conference rooms (whether in a single building or around the world) to share the same iPad-based user interface App.

The advantage of using this to an integrator is that it’s essentially giving you a configurable iPad App versus the need to program a custom touch panel.
