September 25, 2013 – Savant Systems, LLC has introduced the SmartClimate series of climate control processors, delivering integrated or independent control of up to 8 zones of wired thermostats and sensors with extreme configuration flexibility. The first entry in the SmartClimate lineup, the CLI-8000 is typically wall-mounted in utility rooms for ease of access and maintenance and its compact form factor reduces the amount of space typically occupied by a bank of wall-mounted HVAC thermostat processors, thus lessening the challenges associated with wire management for integrators. The SmartClimate CLI-8000 is offered with an optional single-gang thermostat display and a family of temperature and humidity sensors to complete the system. The CLI-8000 will be available from Savant beginning Q4, 2013.

Savant’s bold looking single-gang Circa Style thermostat display is simply installed and offers easy access to climate settings. The Circa thermostat displays are offered as part of the SmartClimate system and feature a color display that provides a clear view of current temperature, set-point, system mode, fan mode, system status and setup functions

The Savant SmartClimate CLI-8000 simplifies the integration of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. Builders and integrators can install a SmartClimate system as an independent solution, controlling up to 8 heating and cooling zones. Used in conjunction with a Savant host, the CLI-8000 becomes scalable, enabling integrators to connect multiple units for increased zone capacity. Additionally, the CLI-8000 can be connected to a Savant automation system, delivering a vast array of advanced features all seamlessly controlled from a variety of Savant user interfaces such as the Apple® iPad®. Using the Climate Scheduler within Savant’s award-winning TrueControl™ app enables users to establish automated climate set-points throughout the zones of a home or commercial facility. The app also provides an instantaneous and historical view of the temperature, humidity, set-points and other useful information. Users can maintain remote access to control their home’s temperature while away using the TrueControl app on their portable device.
