SHAKOPEE, Minn. — July 31, 2017 — RTI today announced that it has begun shipping its all-new CX10 touchpanel. From the executive boardroom to the gourmet kitchen, the CX10 delivers intuitive control and a high-end entertainment experience in a versatile touchpanel interface.

The CX10’s integrated 10-inch, touch-capacitive 1280×800 WXGA-resolution LCD screen delivers simple, intuitive control of the environment and entertainment. Going beyond control, the touchpanel is also a vibrant HD video display supported through an integrated HDBaseT input and stereo speakers. Easy to mount on a countertop or beneath a cabinet, the display has a tilt range from 10 to 90 degrees for the best viewing angle possible. Additional user-friendly features include video intercom support and a built-in composite input to view video from security cameras and other devices. For users’ convenience, a proximity sensor automatically brings the unit to life when it is approached, while an ambient light sensor automatically adjusts the backlighting for the best visibility.

For integrators, the CX10 supports wired 10/100 HDBaseT and wireless Ethernet for seamless setup, two-way control and feedback, and convenient programming updates. For reliable operation, the unit is powered by a separate power supply or by Power over Ethernet Plus. The user interface can be customized to provide an intuitive control experience that meets the specific needs of any installation using RTI’s Integration Designer® APEX software.
