At ISE 2011, RTI showed its newest remote controls, the T2-C+ and T3-V+. Both combine 433-MHz RF for one-way control and 2.4-GHz ZigBee for bidirectional communication with RTI processors and supported third-party electronics, such as media servers, lighting and Web-based RSS feeds.

The T2-C+ has an OLED touch screen plus 35 hard buttons. The T3-V+ has an updated hard button configuration with five soft keys that are custom-engraveable, with a 3.5-inch VGA touch screen. Unlike the T2-C+, it has integrated 802.11 b/g wireless Ethernet and has a built-in Web browser.

Both are programmable with RTI’s Integration Designer software and can be used as standalone remotes or integrated with other devices as part of a control system.
