TD SYNNEX announced that Reyna Thompson has become President of North America on Dec. 1, succeeding Peter Larocque, who began transitioning to an advisory role on Nov. 30.

“Peter has been a cornerstone of TD SYNNEX for 40 years, contributing significantly to the company’s growth,” said Patrick Zammit, CEO of TD SYNNEX. “He leaves an impressive legacy, from mentoring thousands of co-workers to supporting communities through TD SYNNEX Share the Magic, which has raised over $25 million for nonprofits focused on children. I’m grateful for his guidance during this transition and look forward to his continued support.”

Thompson joined TD SYNNEX in 1993 and most recently led the North America Advanced Solutions business unit, focusing on cloud, security, data/AI, and data center solutions. Her team supports over 12,000 channel partners with innovative technologies, services, and programs.

“Reyna has an impressive track record of driving success for vendors and customers,” Zammit said. “She is known for her innovative and collaborative thinking, and we are confident in the value she will bring to our stakeholders in this new role.”

Thompson has been recognized multiple times by CRN magazine, including as one of the “Top 100 Women of the Channel” in 2021 and 2022 and as a “Channel Chief” from 2022 to 2024. She has also led award-winning programs such as TD SYNNEX’s CyberSolv, CloudSolv, and Public Sector initiatives, which earned recognition in the 2024 CRN Partner Program Listing and the 2022 CRN Power 100. Additionally, she serves on the board of Elevate, a TD SYNNEX business resource group focused on mentoring and supporting women.
