Revolabs to Evaluate the Role of Audio in the Corporate Market at PLASA 2017
SUDBURY, Mass. — Sept. 5, 2017 — Revolabs®, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Yamaha Corporation and part of the Yamaha UC department, today announced that Russell Harpham, Revolabs’ director of EMEA, will be a panellist for a special session led by AV Magazine titled, “Where Does Audio Stand Within Today’s Corporate Environment?” at PLASA 2017. The panel will take place on Sept. 18 at 12:15 to 13:15 at Olympia London.
Audio has largely played second fiddle to video in the AV world, but this paradigm is shifting. This session will explore the role audio networking technology and the growth that huddle rooms and collaboration spaces are playing in the shift as well as considerations for deploying and achieving high-quality audio. The panelists will weigh in on a number of topics impacting the corporate market, including:
• The importance of sound in an AV environment
• How to achieve the best experience for all users
• Issues to consider when deploying audio solutions
• How to evaluate an application’s audio needs
• How to ensure the success of a specified system
Harpham has more than 20 years of experience working with leading-edge manufacturers to develop markets throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. He has helped establish Revolabs’ leadership in the integrated wireless microphone market and introduce the company’s range of unified communications products to the region. Based in the U.K., he continues to support the unified team, lending his experience and industry insight — from helping integrate some of the largest microphone projects in Revolabs’ history and introducing collaborative Yamaha and Revolabs’ UC solutions to some of the market’s largest and innovative audio consumers.
