Welcome to our recap of the second day of rePLAY InfoComm 2023! rAVe [PUBS] Managing Editor Steph Beckett and LAVNCH [CODE] Editor-in-Chief Megan A. Dutta are back to talk all things about the trade show.

Puppies!

Day Two kicked off with Megan speaking to Kathy Burns, the operations director at Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando.  Pet Alliance was invited to InfoComm 2023 to give attendees the opportunity to take a “puppy break” and cuddle with some puppies during the show. All of the puppies were made available for adoption at the conclusion of InfoComm 2023.

“Bits and Bobs”

Megan and Steph got down to business by featuring a few miscellaneous products they found interesting at InfoComm 2023, including Sonance Invisible Speakers (which Megan noted are great for immersive experience audio) and the Purelink Cross-Platform Matrix Switcher. After highlighting some UCC solutions, our hosts shared Gary Kayye’s interview with Sandi Stambaugh of TD SYNNEX, the winner of rAVe Readers’ Choice “Favorite Distributor of 2023” award. They discussed TD SYNNEX’s role in the ProAV industry, the evolving structure of TD SYNNEX and more.

Audio Video Report

Megan and Steph shifted gears by showing off the audio/video solutions that caught their eye at InfoComm 2023.  Check out Audio-Technica’s modular engineered sound wired microphone system, Ashly Audio’s MA series power amplifiers and Catchbox’s Catchbox Plus customizable cube microphone.
