(Edison, New Jersey) RCF USA has named Tarik Solangi as new National Sales Manager.
Solangi took over the position the first of this year, after spending two years with the company providing technical support for their live sound and line array products.
According to Solangi, the evolution to his current position actually dates back decades noting that his involvement with RCF comes from having been a user, a dealers, a studio engineer and his role in live sound production.
Before joining RCF, Solangi owned his own production company and recording studio for over 20 years. He’s worked with a variety of national acts and regional bands on tour. With his work in the studio, he has over 500 albums credits as a recording engineer.
“I have a passion for audio,” Solangi states, effusing his enthusiasm for the RCF products. In his choice as National Sales Manager, RCF USA President Roni Nevo said he recognized while Solangi was providing technical support that he had what it takes for the position. Others he interviewed for the position were only focused on sales. “Selling skills are not enough,” says Nevo. Professionalism, people skills, product knowledge, along with engineering and implementation skills are all important elements to meet the demands of the role. Tarik met the parameters of my philosophy of what a sales manager should be.”
RCF USA is the wholly owned American distribution arm of the Italy-based RCF Group, a company that comprises RCF S.p.A. and AEB Industriale s.r.l., which owns the dB Technologies brand. RCF was founded in 1949 by a group of Italian electro-acoustic engineers manufacturing ribbon microphones, amplifiers and related products. Over the next few decades, RCF became a worldwide leader in transducer technology.
