David Meyer will be presenting an education session on what capabilities and features are most important for integrators to consider when designing and deploying HDMI systems. Sean Olive of HARMAN International will be discussing all things acoustics: how to conduct a scientific listening test, the differences between trained and untrained listeners, predicting listener preferences, acoustical interactions between loudspeakers and rooms, use of subwoofers for bass improvement and preferred in-room target curves.

“VoIP and Videoconferencing: Method to the Madness”

IT and AV Systems Engineer Paul Zielie will be presenting on the details and potential pitfalls of integrating a commercial VoIP system, as well as the technical considerations involved in deploying a videoconferencing system.
