“The Unstoppable AI Revolution That’s Coming to the Home”

Sept. 6 | 5:30 p.m. MDT | Four Seasons Ballroom | Scott Steinberg

Scott Steinberg, CEO of TechSavvy Global, will serve as the keynote speaker for CEDIA Expo 2023, and his speech will cover “the ever-evolving landscape of smart home technologies, the impact of artificial intelligence and the future of connected living.” The smart home market is rapidly changing and evolving, so this session is perfect for anyone interested in an industry expert’s opinion of the future of the market.

 

 

“The Latest From HDMI and What Matters to You”

David Meyer will be presenting an education session on what capabilities and features are most important for integrators to consider when designing and deploying HDMI systems. He’ll also be breaking down some tech jargon, gaming-specific features, long length connectivity and alternative technologies.

“ChatGPT Wrote This: How AI Language Tools Can Revolutionize Workflows for Technology Integrators”

Alex Capecelatro, Giles Sutton and Ron Callis will be going over best methods for using AI language tools like ChatGPT to improve communication and collaboration with clients. They’ll also explain how you can use AI language tools to aid in project planning and troubleshooting.

“The Science of Sound”

Sept. 7 | 11:30 a.m. MDT | Mile High Ballroom 4C | Sean Olive

Sean Olive of HARMAN International will be discussing all things acoustics: how to conduct a scientific listening test, the differences between trained and untrained listeners, predicting listener preferences, acoustical interactions between loudspeakers and rooms, use of subwoofers for bass improvement and preferred in-room target curves.

“The Science of Easy-to-use”

Sept. 8 | 9 a.m. MDT | Mile High Ballroom 3C | Chris Demeniuk

Ever wondered what makes technology truly easy to use? Chris Demeniuk will be breaking down how human perception, basic cognitive psychology, the concepts of usability and user-centered design principles work together to make easy-to-use solutions.

“VoIP and Videoconferencing: Method to the Madness”

Sept. 8 | 1:30 p.m. MDT | Mile High Ballroom 4C | Paul Zielie

IT and AV Systems Engineer Paul Zielie will be presenting on the details and potential pitfalls of integrating a commercial VoIP system, as well as the technical considerations involved in deploying a videoconferencing system.
