Kelly Perkins has been on a mission that we’re all going to reap the benefits of. In less than two years, she envisioned, planned, executed and launched a totally-new industry initiative known as IGNITE. Funded by the NSCA, IGNITE connects employers with students ready-to-employ AND has an industry-based Ambassador program where you can not only help mentor your people into the AV industry but you can hep educate them, too. 

While I was up in Milwaukee a few weeks ago for the AVI Systems conference, AVI LIVE, I caught up with Kelly just a few months after her all-new IGNITE website (https://igniteyourcareer.org) launched and talked about the IGNITE program, the plans and how you (and us all) can get involved by mentoring, hiring or educating future AV stars!
