Rants and rAVes — Episode 979: Pay attention to Macnica America

rants 979Macnica America is one of those companies that you probably aren’t paying attention to but, probably should. As an early adopter (and a chip manufacturer) of the proposed AV-over-IP standards (from the AIMS Alliance) dubbed IPMX, Macnica hopes to not only deliver standardized network video to the commercial AV world but, also to UCC and the consumer market, too. Gary was joined on today’s podcast with Macnica’s Director of Product Management, Andrew Starks, who explains the tech and how it works. We also shot a few videos at ISE 2020 of their chip (called the ME 10) and you can watch them all here.
