Rants and rAVes — Episode 843: Digital Projection is Going Even Bigger Than 8K at InfoComm 2019
Digital Projection has always pushed the resolution (and light output) envelope. The first company to demo native 4K at InfoComm was DPI. 8k; DPI. And, at InfoComm 2019, they will not only show mind-blowing 8K imagery, but you’ll see a special projector that can display three 4K images simultaneously using 360fps technology. We saw this at ISE and it was a game-changing moment for me in real-life 3D modeling. Gary was joined on his podcast today with DPI’s VP of Sales, Chuck Collins, who explained this demo, as well as what to expect when they demo the brightest 1-chip DLP projector on earth in booth 1642 at InfoComm. And, of course, their LED lineup will be amped-up too. Their booth will be the largest they’ve ever had, in the history of the company and, after listening to this podcast, you’ll want to put #1642 on your InfoComm map.
