Rants and rAVes — Episode 796: DVIGear to Debut New DN 150 10G AV-over-IP System at ISE
Gary had a chance to talk to DVI Gear’s Matthew Pulsipher who detailed what the DN 150 is and why it’s replacing the DN 100 Series — it all has to do with 4K and the need to convert it into a “virtually matrix-able” AV-over-IP signal (10Gbps via SDVoE . And their demo of it is going to be pretty cool (and can win you prizes). In addition, he used rAVe RADIO to officially launch their new HyperLight active optical cables (AOC) that have interchangeable ends for HDMI, DisplayPort, etc. This will all debut in Hall 1 in stand M100 at the ISE Show in Amsterdam on February 5th!
