Rants and rAVes — Episode 725: Semtech Could Build 1G and 5G AV-over-IP SDVoE, But Will They?
Gary was joined by Semtech Corproation‘s Gareth Heywood, Video Products Market Manager — the company that designed and makes the reference chips for all the SDVoE Alliance members. As you likely know, the SDVoE AV-over-IP standard is a 10G standard with the least compression of 4K over IP. But, I posed the question that everyone has wanted to ask them — could Semtech make a 1G or 5G AV-over-IP options, too?
