Rants and rAVes — Episode 597: InfoComm Special Videocast: Avocor’s InfoComm Debut Includes Industry’s Newest Collaboration Board

Rants and rAVes —

There are more than a dozen collaboration boards shipping now. And, nearly all of them have a proprietary software OS. Not Avocor.  Avocor, the start-up out of Portland, Washington, decided to use Windows 10 to allow for the Microsoft suite of applications to be used on any Avocor board. And, since it’s designed for touch, the Windows interface lends itself well to a giant tablet-like form-factor that comes in a plethora of sizes – most of which are native 4K (3840 x 2160 resolution). On a special video version of today’s Rants and rAVe’s podcast, Gary is shown the Avocor Collaboration Board technology by Avocor’s own GM & VP of Sales, Dana Corey If you want to understand Avocor’s differentiation from Microsoft’s own Surface Hub, the Sharp AQUOUS Board or the Google Jamboard, watch this demo.
