Rants & rAVes — Episode 1037: A Look Back on Len Dozier’s 56-year Career in AV As He Retires
When Len Dozier entered the AV market, Lyndon B. Johnson was the president, pro video was still black and white and Sony wasn’t a player yet. But, that was before Len sold Sony into every Nissan dealer in the U.S. Len went on to eventually create what is, arguably, the first mount company in AV — Premier Mounts; recently sold to Gamber-Johnson. His career spans 56 years in AV, and this talk between him and rAVe’s own Gary Kayye is basically a history lesson in ProAV from 1966-2021. Watch and enjoy as Len retires from the industry this month to continue his hobby in fly-fishing!
