QSC has announced a major expansion of its Q-SYS Full Stack AV Platform, introducing new Core processors, AI-powered automation tools, and updates to its cloud-based management and monitoring services.

The release includes Q-SYS Designer Software v10, new Core models for scalable AV processing, the VisionSuite AI Accelerator for room automation, and additional reporting features within Q-SYS Reflect.

New Processing Options and Unified OS

The update introduces three new Q-SYS Core processors:

  • Core 24f: Replacing the Core 110f, this processor offers double the DSP power and increased I/O capacity.
  • Server Core X10: Designed for larger-scale applications, it supports 256×256 network I/O and 64 AEC processors.
  • Server Core X20r: An enterprise-level model with 384×384 I/O, 128 AEC processors, and redundant power supplies.

All new processors run on the same Q-SYS platform OS. The company has also removed licensing fees for scripting, plugins, and user control interface deployment.

AI Tools for Room Automation and Tracking

Q-SYS also introduced VisionSuite, a suite of multimodal automation tools designed to enhance in-room intelligence and remote collaboration. Features include:

  • Speaker Spotlight: Uses voice and image to dynamically frame the active speaker.
  • Presenter Spotlight: Enables full-body presenter tracking via computer vision.
  • VisionSuite AI Accelerator (VSA-100): A dedicated hardware device supporting advanced automation features.

These capabilities are configurable using the new VisionSuite Designer, a 3D visualization and design tool within the Q-SYS Designer Software.

Expanded Cloud Monitoring and Reporting

The company’s Q-SYS Reflect platform now includes more advanced data and reporting tools, offering insight into system reliability and performance across deployments. The updated Reflect API is also free to use and supports third-party device monitoring.
