Prowise Touchscreen Ten Wins Red Dot Design Award

Red Dot Design Award Prowise Touchscreen Ten

Brainport Eindhoven – The Prowise Touchscreen Ten has won the international award for high design quality with a Red Dot Design Award. The new screen from Dutch educational innovator Prowise has beaten submissions from more than 60 different countries and was chosen by a highly regarded expert jury.

The Prowise Touchscreen Ten is developed fully under Prowise management. From the first sketches and ideas, ‘Privacy by Design’ and ‘Form meets Function’ have been a central point of departure. This deviating approach wins the hearts of teachers and pupils all over the world and is also appreciated by international design experts. With a place in the final, the screen is still in the running for an iF DESIGN AWARD 2021 and now also receives compliments from the expert jury of the Red Dot Design Awards.

A real eye catcher
“In the Prowise Touchscreen Ten, ‘privacy by design’ and ‘form meets function’ join forces to create a safe, familiar and challenging learning environment. The design specifically has usability in mind and therefore has various ports at the front of the screen. The ‘Fabric Speaker Cover’ over the 2.1 Dolby Audio soundbar immediately creates an optical effect of a soundbar in the screen, while, at the same time, smoothing out the look of the screen. Due to the soothing black colour and brushed aluminium, the screen fits in every classroom and is a real eye catcher”, Concept Designer Rolf Moesker explains.

Award
“The ‘Red Dot’ is the most prestigious award for top design quality. The international jury only rewards the products that have an excellent design. Therefore, I am particularly excited to inform you that your product was able to convince our jury and receives the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2021. The fact that you were able to stick out among the strong competition demonstrates the excellent quality of your product”, says Professor Dr. Peter Zec, founder and CEO of Red Dot.
