The Dutch scale-up Prowise has launched its largest touchscreen ever. The 98″ variant of Prowise Touchscreen Ten belongs to the high-end segment in terms of features and comes onto the market at a very competitive price.

With the Prowise Touchscreen Ten 98″, Prowise completes its line-up (55”, 65”, 75” en 86”). The largest screen has the same technological features, connection ports and software as the rest of the Prowise family of interactive whiteboards, including distinctive privacy and cyber security certifications. In terms of pricing, in that range and size, the screen has a unique position in the market with a retail price of only 5000 euro, excluding VAT.

“Due to our international growth, especially in Germany, we have noticed an increasing demand for larger format touchscreens. With the 98″, you get more screen than ever, but we have of course ensured that you can count on the highest privacy conditions, an extensive five-year warranty and free software updates,” says Prowise managing director Michael Ahrens.

Display bonding and nano texture

Thanks to the used touch technology (ProWrite), glass plate (nano texture) and display bonding (no space between glass plate and LCD panel) the Prowise Touchscreen Ten has a smooth pen-on-paper writing experience. The display bonding also prevents glare on the screen, as external light does not reflect back. To reduce reflection and fingerprints, the screen has nano texture etched directly into the glass. This technology is offered by Apple, at a considerable extra cost, on iMacs and is included with Prowise as standard.

Complete conference solution

With its 4K Ultra HD IPS Panel, 2.1 Dolby Audio Soundbar and 6 wide area microphones, the screen is equipped with the very best audio-visual capabilities. The optional Prowise MOVE camera creates a complete conference solution for organizing digital meetings or conferences. The screen has 40 touch points and comes with two pens. With USB-C ports, one positioned at the front of the screen, only one cable is required for touch, 60w power, audio and video from a device.

Ready for use

The 98″ variant is, just like the other Prowise screens, equipped as standard with the Prowise Central operating system, which was developed in-house. This provides the user with whiteboard and annotation software (ProNote), screencast protocols such as AirPlay and Chromecast, an Appstore (Teams, Meet, Skype and Zoom) and the award-winning educational software Prowise Presenter. All these features can be used without a PC module.

Privacy and cyber security

In order to offer schools a safe and privacy-friendly learning environment, Prowise develops all hardware and software in-house. This vision is recognised worldwide by independent certificates like ISO 27001 and AV Test Institute ‘Tested IoT Product’. “There is no other touchscreen provider on the education market that can provide the same independent privacy and security certifications,” says Ahrens.
