Promethean introduced a 95-inch interactive whiteboard and short-throw projector system. The new 95-inch Activboard, available in the fall 2006, has an anti-glare electromagnetic surface. Users use the battery-free Activpen or the new 21-inch Activwand, which permits early learners and special needs students to more easily select and interact with objects on the board that may have been out of reach before.

The new Activboard+2 has a new short- throw mounted, height-adjustable projector, eliminating the need for in-ceiling wiring and installation, and using a Sanyo projector with a three-foot throw.
