PROLIGHTS has launched the ÆtherBox, a single-universe CRMX transceiver designed for rugged performance in both indoor and outdoor environments. With an IP65 protection rating, the device is built to withstand dust and water, making it suitable for a range of applications, from concert stages to permanent installations.

The ÆtherBox offers versatile connectivity options, including XLR 5-pin in/out, Ethernet for sACN and ArtNet, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. It supports both CRMX and CRMX2 protocols, ensuring seamless integration with various lighting control systems.

Durability and Mounting Flexibility

Constructed with a die-cast aluminum housing, the ÆtherBox is designed for durability in demanding conditions. It includes multiple mounting options, such as:

• Truss installation using Velcro straps
• Camlock suspension for quick hanging (compatible with Omega brackets)
• M10 and 3/8-inch threaded holes for adaptable installation
• Multiple Power Options and User-Friendly Controls

A key feature of the ÆtherBox is its flexible power options. In addition to True1 power connectivity, it supports a 12V DC input and can operate on battery power with a dedicated adapter plate.

The control panel is equipped with a color display and two pushable encoders, allowing for easy configuration and management of transmission protocols.
