projectiondesign to Debut New avielo Series of Projectors at CEDIA

projectiondesign announced the company will show a new series of DLP projectors for home theaters. As so often with this company, the chassis designs just rock.

Initially, three models will be released — the spectra, optix and prisma, with 10-bit processing, Phillips UHP VIDI lamp technology, HDMI 1.3 and the company’s RealColor color management suite.

The avielo is full 1080p, capable of screen sizes up to 120 inches. It is distinguished by hand selected “Signature” series projection lenses and, says the company, other technologies normally found in their professional-grade projectors.

The avielo optix also features full HD 1080p resolution, a choice of six lens options, three of which come from the hand-selected ‘Signature’ series, and this is designed for screens up to180 inches. It also uses the company’s ‘DuArch’ dual illumination architecture, which keeps it going even if a lamp fails.

Last, the avielo prisma is an entry level 720p model for up to 100-inch screens.

No further details are yet available, such as price of ship dates, but as always, we’ll keep you informed!
