Proficient Launches Dealer-Focused Product and Brand Announcements at CEDIA 2015

core-proficient-speaker-1015At this week’s CEDIA Expo in Dallas, Core Brands will debut Proficient Signature architectural speakers and a revamp of its existing Proficient Protege speaker line. This will create new opportunities for installing dealers while staying within the Proficient brand.

The Proficient Signature portfolio of ten architectural speakers builds on the success Proficient achieved with its Signature high-gloss black cabinet loudspeakers and subwoofers. By focusing on the flagship ceiling, inwall and outdoor speakers, it will allow installing dealers a highly effective way to upsell Proficient by focusing more attention on its position at the top end of the brand.

Proficient Signature offers a major step up in performance over Proficient Protege and incorporates a striking new industrial design. All Signature architectural speakers will use the high-powered combination of Kevlar woofers and aluminum-dome tweeters and will continue using the clever thin-bezel grille design of the legacy Proficient line.

This sell-up strategy is the beginning of a larger brand segmentation program to come. This new approach will allow dealers to more fully leverage the power and prestige of the brand with an expanded product portfolio with a total of 12 products in Proficient Signature.

Adding to the Proficient Signature high-gloss cabinet loudspeaker line will be five home theater loudspeakers led by its flagship 10” 3-way ceiling speaker, 8” and 6½” LCR ceiling speakers plus 6½” and 5¼” dual-woofer inwall LCR speakers. For whole-house, there will be four models: 8” and 6½” ceiling speakers and 8” and 6½” inwall speakers. And there will be an 8” 3-way outdoor speaker in the Proficient Signature lineup.
