SHAKOPEE, Minn. — Oct. 14, 2015 — Pro Control today announced that the company will be highlighting its all-new line of Z-Wave® lighting control solutions at CEDIA EXPO 2015. In booth 5746, Pro Control will demonstrate how the new products allow users to easily manage lighting elements both locally and from the convenience of a Pro Control user interface.
The new Pro Control lighting control solutions utilize Z-Wave RF technology, creating a wireless network that seamlessly integrates with Pro Control’s home automation systems via the Pro.zwi Z-Wave interface module. Perfect for new construction and retrofit installations, the product line consists of light switches, dimmers, a lamp module, and receptacles, and does not require any new or specialized wiring. For instance, the innovative battery-operated “Anyplace” switch eliminates the need for any wiring, offering incredibly flexible installation possibilities. With a classic, elegant design, the devices blend into any décor, and easily scale to installations of nearly any size — providing control for up to 200 devices.
“By taking advantage of Z-Wave technology, our new control solutions provide dealers with a simple, cost-effective way to integrate lighting into a Pro Control automation system — helping their clients save energy and increase security,” said Mike Everett, general manager of Pro Control. “Without the need for additional wiring — or even any wiring at all in some cases — the devices provide exceptional flexibility to accommodate any installation. We look forward to bringing these solutions and more to our dealers at CEDIA EXPO.”
Pro Control will be exhibiting in booth 5746 at CEDIA EXPO 2015 from Oct. 15–17. More information on Pro Control’s full line of products is available at http://www.procontrol.com.
