Premier Shows LCD Slider Mount at InfoComm
We wrote about this earlier, but Premier has released more info on this new product it debuted atInfoComm, including model numbers. Premier Mounts showed a new concept for display mounting in a classroom at the show. The PLS-1000 and PLS-1500 LCD sliders will glide displays horizontally along a mounted track with option to lift vertically as well.
The concept of the design was to provide a simple, stationary wall mounted unit utilizing gas shocks to provide a steady resistance to help gently glide the display to a desired height. Using steel channels, the display can be mounted over the top of a chalkboard or whiteboard. The display’s movement is accommodated by rubberized rollers to glide, providing a smooth horizontal motion.
Two options are available with the slider; the PLS-1000 would provide horizontal slide while thePLS-1500 would provide the same horizontal slide with an included lifting mechanism to provide precise placement for the display.
