PPDS Intros Wave, a Cloud Platform for Control and Management of Its Displays

PPDS WavePPDS (i.e., Philips) has announced the launch of Wave, a cloud platform for control and management of its displays. Philips said in its press release that Wave helps reduce installation and service times for multiple displays. Built to scale for fleets, both locally and globally, it can securely provision and monitor hundreds of thousands of displays worldwide.

Wave is now included out-of-the-box with all Philips Q-Line, D-Line, T-Line and C-Line displays and any existing display with Android 7 and above can also be upgraded and provisioned. The Wave platform allows integrators or users to manage any number of accounts and displays across different locations, as well as making bulk updates, updating firmware, debugging screens, adjusting settings, adding basic content and receiving alerts. PPDS Wave also gives you control of display software updates allowing you to control which displays, and when, an update is installed.

The company says eventually Wave will be extended to cover PPDS’ range of Philips direct view LED, interactive and video wall displays, as well as professional TVs.
