PPDS Intros Three New Outdoor LED Options that are IP65 and IP66 Rated; Pixel Pitches from 2.5mm to 10mm
PPDS (Philips Professional Displays) has expanded its outdoor dvLED lineup with the launch of the Philips Urban LED 5000, 6000, and 7000 Series. These displays are designed for high-traffic public venues, transportation hubs, and sports stadiums.
Available immediately, the Philips Urban LED 7000 comes in 500×500mm and 500×1000mm panel sizes, with pixel pitch options of 2.9mm, 3.9mm, and 4.8mm. Featuring up to 6,000 nits brightness and a 3840Hz refresh rate, the 7000 Series is built for outdoor environments with an IP66 rating for dust, water, and salt spray resistance.
Designed for outdoor sports venues and large-scale signage, the Philips Urban LED 6000 Series is ideal for streets, motorways, airports, train and bus stations, and building façades. It supports viewing distances of 10–30 meters and is available in 1200×1200mm, 800×1200mm, and 800×900mm panel sizes with 6.67mm, 8.3mm, and 10mm pixel pitches. With up to 7,200 nits brightness and an IP65 rating, it withstands rain, airborne pollutants, and extreme temperatures ranging from -20°C (-4°F) to 50°C (122°F).
The Philips Urban LED 5000 Series is PPDS’ first outdoor display designed for stadium perimeters, meeting professional sports league regulations for LED advertising boards. Available in 1600×900mm and 2000×900mm panel sizes with 6.67mm, 8.3mm, and 10mm pixel pitches, it features up to 10,000 nits brightness and an IP66 rating for durability in all weather conditions.
