PPDS, the exclusive global provider of Philips Professional Displays, has appointed Marco van der Knaap as its new global product manager for Philips LED displays.

With more than 25 years of experience in the LED display market, van der Knaap is widely recognized in the AV industry for his technical knowledge and leadership. In his new role, he will guide the development and positioning of PPDS’ expanding portfolio of indoor and outdoor dvLED displays, supporting the company’s international growth strategy.

Based in Amsterdam and reporting to Jeroen Brants, global product director for LED at PPDS, van der Knaap brings a background that includes leading high-performance teams and driving large-scale digital and sales transformation efforts. At a previous company, he was credited with increasing revenue by 500 percent while streamlining operational costs.

At PPDS, van der Knaap will support dvLED sales teams around the world and help raise awareness of the Philips LED product range across verticals such as retail, broadcast, sports venues, corporate offices, education, hospitality, and transportation. His responsibilities will include product management, business development, and the delivery of customized hardware and software solutions tailored to customer needs.
