Powersoft’s high-performance T Series amplifiers were selected to power a robust, high-fidelity sound system at Sky Bar, a vibrant rooftop venue in Ba Ria Vung Tau, Vietnam. Known for its dynamic nightlife and coastal views, Sky Bar now boasts an audio setup designed for high-energy entertainment and live events.

Located atop the four-star Premier Pearl Hotel, Sky Bar offers panoramic views of Vung Tau’s ocean and skyline, making it a go-to destination for tourists. To complement the atmosphere, the venue required a sound system that delivered premium performance while withstanding harsh coastal conditions like wind and sea salt.

The installation was led by Hoang Phu Sound — also serving as the project consultant and a partner of Universal Procurement Systems Vietnam Co. Ltd. (UPSV), Powersoft’s distributor in Vietnam. They selected Powersoft’s T Series amplifiers and Bose Professional speakers to deliver the lively ambiance patrons expect.

To meet system demands, the team installed Powersoft’s 8000W, four-channel T904A and two 6000W, four-channel T604A amplifier platforms. “The T Series offered a compact size with powerful performance, which was perfect for Sky Bar,” said Nguyen Luong Niem, technical manager at UPSV.

The amplifiers were installed in a centralized equipment rack near the bar for easy maintenance and monitoring. Bose AMU208 full-range speakers and Bose MB210WR subwoofers (in bridge mode via the T604A) completed the system. The setup was fine-tuned using Powersoft’s ArmoníaPlus System Design software. “ArmoníaPlus allowed the team to configure and adjust the system remotely with ease and efficiency,” Niem added.

According to Niem, the T Series was the ideal choice due to its compact footprint, energy efficiency, and five-year warranty. “Before Powersoft, we faced issues with energy usage and heat dissipation in high-demand environments,” he said. “Smart Rails Management technology resolved those concerns by recycling reactive energy and reducing heat dissipation.”

The installation came with technical challenges, including tight deadlines, limited rack space, and demanding audio requirements. “We needed high volume, punchy bass and clear mid-highs for DJs,” Niem explained. “The T Series delivered the perfect solution.”

With the coastal location exposing the system to sea salt and wind, long-term durability was critical. Powersoft’s robust amplifier design delivered on both performance and reliability. “T Series delivered not only power but also ease of integration,” Niem said. “It helped us meet the client’s high expectations while addressing the site’s unique environmental challenges.”
