Polycom Adds Feature to Telepresence Solutions
In addition to simplified dialing, Polycom has also further simplified the user experience of their Telepresence line of products by automating screen layouts, voice activated room switching for multi-site calls and Polycom telepresence solutions support interoperability with leading unified communications platforms from Avaya, Microsoft, IBM, Broadsoft, Cisco and others.
Although Cisco is perceived to be the leader in Telepresence, the fact is that Polycom dominates that landscape and it will be interesting to watch this market develop as Cisco integrates Tandberg into their organizational culture.
