PlexusAV and intoPIX have announced the launch of the P-AVN-4E and P-AVN-4D, new IPMX-ready encoder and decoder products designed for professional AV-over-IP deployments. The companies announced the products Tuesday, expanding PlexusAV’s IPMX portfolio with dedicated encoding and decoding devices that support JPEG XS Temporal Differential Coding.

The P-AVN-4E and P-AVN-4D are built on intoPIX’s TicoXS FIP codec and are designed to provide full IPMX interoperability. Unlike previous multifunction designs, the new products are offered as separate encoder and decoder units, giving integrators more flexibility when designing and deploying AV-over-IP systems.

According to the companies, support for the JPEG XS TDC profile allows the products to optimize bandwidth usage by leveraging temporal similarities between successive video frames. This approach enables visually lossless video transport over standard 1-gigabit Ethernet networks while maintaining low latency, which is critical for live events and interactive applications.

PlexusAV positioned the new products as part of its broader effort to simplify AV-over-IP architectures while remaining aligned with the IPMX standard for open and interoperable systems. The P-AVN-4E and P-AVN-4D are designed to integrate with other IPMX-ready products, including intoPIX’s TitaniumShow and TitaniumViewer software solutions.

The new products will be demonstrated at ISE 2026, scheduled for Feb. 3–6 in Barcelona. They will be shown on the intoPIX booth in Hall 5, Booth 5F700, and on the PlexusAV booth in Hall 5, Booth 5J700.
