Planar Systems entered the commercial front projection market with four DLP models with some rather incredible pricing.
The new projectors include the PR3010 and PR3020 conference room models, the high-performance PR5020 and the ultra-portable PR6020 projector.
The Planar PR3010 is specified at 2500 lumens 2000:1 contrast ratio and SVGA resolution and is priced at an unbelievable $699. The Planar PR3020 ($999) is specified at XGA resolution, 2500 lumens with a 2000:1 contrast ratio. The PR5020 specs are XGA resolution, 3000 lumens, and 2200:1 contrast ratio, and it includes DVI input for $1,399. The ultra-portable PR6020 weighs less than three pounds and is specified at XGA resolution, 2000 lumens and 2200:1 contrast ratio, and it is also priced at $1,399.
