Philips Signage Solutions at ISE 2014
Amsterdam, 6 December 2013 – The RAI fair ground in Amsterdam will be stage for the Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) from 4 through 6 February 2014. MMD, the brand license partner for Philips Signage Solutions, will present a wide array of innovative products for a multitude of different vertical markets here. With digital signage solutions becoming increasingly important throughout practically all market segments, MMD’s signage portfolio has been ever-growing over the last years. This year’s stand, the largest ISE trade fair presence so far for MMD, will cover no less than 260 m², virtually packed with display technology innovations.
Vertical market approach
The exhibition concept at the stand (no. 10-K114) in Amsterdam will be based on a vertical market approach. MMD will show its entire signage portfolio. Particular requirements for the usage in vertical segments, such as retail, education or corporate have been taken into account when developing these top-notch signage displays. MMD will also present Hospitality TVs and selected monitors from Philips, which have been specifically certified for the usage in clinical environments, completing the line-up of display innovations.
Q-Line: economical and convenient
Equipped with the innovative SmartControl software, the new Q-Line models can easily be implemented into existing networks. Their HTML5 browser has been specifically adapted to digital signage use. Contents from all DLNA compliant devices, including smartphones and other mobile gadgets, can thus effortlessly be displayed on the large screens. An internal media player is capable of handling a multitude of video and audio codecs from USB sources.
Think big: Video Walls
As the panel size of LC displays is technically restricted, the possibilities to combine multiple screens to one large display are virtually limitless.
MMD presents 55” Philips Video Walls that can be daisy-chained and combined to a maximum of no less than 150 displays. Thanks to their super-slim bezel, they can be arranged almost seamlessly and combined to impressive signage solutions. The 55″ Video Walls come with a factory-set calibration, which helps achieving an even colour gamut when combined.
Ultra HD prototype
As attention-grabber, MMD will also put on display an Ultra HD (3840 x 2160 pixels) prototype. This masterpiece of display technology arranges over 8 million pixels on a screen with a 84″ (213 cm) diagonal.
All of these innovations and current Philips Signage bestsellers will be on exhibit from 4-6 February 2014 at the RAI fair ground in Amsterdam, stand 10-K114.
