Philips Adds 13” ePaper Signage Display; Joins 25” and 32” of No-Power Displays
PPDS (aka: Philips Professional Displays) added to its ePaper with Android SoC signage range with a 13” Philips Tableaux 4150. Available to be VESA-mounted in portrait or landscape, 13” Philips Tableaux 4150 Series will be aimed at retail, corporate, hospitality, food and beverage, healthcare and transportation and is part of the same 25” 4150 and 32” 5150 models.
Available globally, and featuring a white bezel design, the 13” Philips Tableaux 4150 — developed with partner, E Ink — uses no power (unless changing content) and includes an Android 11OS player. Using a 1600 x 1200 resolution display, it includes a 16GB internal memory, there is no need for an external media player and users just plug into a power source to upload new static content for instant play via USB, LAN or Wi-Fi connections.
Philips Tableaux displays are designed for 24/7 use — can operate entirely unplugged, and are extremely light weight. In fact, the 13” weighs just 1.3kg (less than 2 pounds).
As part of PPDS’ growing Android SoC family, content updates on the 13” Philips Tableaux 4150 can be managed manually (including USB), or entirely remotely via a range of certified third party professional display control and management partners, as well as PPDS’ cloud-based Wave remote device management platform.
