Panasonic Makes Claim of Smallest LCD Laser Projectors in New Launch
The new Panasonic PT-VMZ50 Series makes a bold claims as the world’s smallest and lightest LCD laser projectors. Aimed at the classroom, conference rooms and boardroom markets, the PT-VMZ50 Series consists of three models: the firs two are both 1920×1200, with either 5000 lumens (PT-VMZ50U) or 4000 lumens (PT-VMZ40U) of brightness. The third model is the 1280×800, 5000 lumen PT-VMW50U.
The entire PT-VMZ50 Series features Panasonics’s SOLID SHINE laser technology specified to last for 20,000 hours, features 1.6x zoom lenses for short throw-distances (throw ratio: 1.09-1.77:1) and the projectors support wide V/H lens-shift.
Inputs include HDMI and Panasonic’s DIGITAL LINK connection (aka: HDBaseT) for distances of up to 150 meters (492 feet) for 1080p video and 50 m (164 feet) for 4K video and RS232 was well as IR and network control.
Other features include built-in wireless projection, a Quick Start/Quick Off feature, a USB Memory Viewer function and a built-in, 10-watt speaker.
