Panasonic Connect Debuts Three All-in-One LEDs, a New Broadcast and Streaming PTZ Camera and LCD Projectors

Panasonic Connect launched a plethora of new product today including a 4K PTZ camera with built-in auto-tracking and IP-based video transmission; all-in-one Intel SDM-enabled LED displays; a series of 8,000 lumen LCD projectors, a new version of its PressIT wireless presentation system and software for its ET-FMP50 Series of media processors.

Panasonic’s three new all-in-one LED displays are available in 165-inch, 137-inch, and 110-inch models and feature dual Intel SDM slots, allowing for AV-over-IP integration with proprietary or third-party function boards. They feature a brightness of up to 700 cd/m2 and a pixel pitch of up to 1.9mm. They are shipped semi-assembled and with mounting hardware included and, like all all-in-one LEDs, connects via a single HDMI cable.

The PT-VMZ82 Series is Panasonic’s most energy-efficient LCD projector to-date. It uses 25% less energy than its current range of LCD projectors, and features a body made of up to 59% recycled resins. The VMZ82 Series, featuring the VMZ82 (8,000lm), VMZ72 (7,200lm), and VMZ62 (6,500lm) and feature Daylight View Basic functionality, optimizing image quality based on ambient lighting.

The PressIT wireless presentation system – the WPS2 Series – enables users to wirelessly project from their PC, tablet, or smartphone screen onto any display. PressIT allows up to 32 devices and four screens to be displayed simultaneously.

Panasonic Connect new media server software now provides installers and technical operators with new geometry correction capabilities and content management functions when using the FMP50 Series.

Its new AW-UE150AW/AK 4K PTZ camera is designed for both remote production and live streaming and is also aimed at rental, staging, and broadcast. It offers built-in auto tracking functionality, a high-sensitivity 1.0-type 4K MOS sensor, and a wide-angle lens (75.1° horizontal) with 20x optical zoom. The UE150AW/AK supports the NDI High Bandwidth protocol to enable IP-based, low-latency 4K video transmission, in addition to the existing support for SRT and NDI HX2 protocols. It also features an optical low-pass filter (OLPF) that reduces luminance and colour moiré when filming monitors or LED walls, whilst HDR (HLG) compatibility delivers true-to-life image reproduction.
