Panasonic Connect Announced Software Update to ET-FMP50 Series Processors
Panasonic Connect has released new integrated software for its ET-FMP50 Series media processors, now available for all three models in the series. This software simplifies workflows, from advanced setup to content management, allowing installers and operators to manage large-scale, multi-projector immersive experiences through a single platform.
The software combines screen adjustment tools, such as precise geometry correction, with content management functions. Technicians can use auto screen adjustment to make complex alterations with pixel-level precision, enhancing post-adjustment image quality. Key features include geometry correction, content splitting, edge blending, black level adjustment, color matching, and masking, ensuring high-quality, immersive visual effects.
Content management tools enable users to register multiple content types, including images and videos, create playlists, and schedule playback for daily, monthly, or yearly intervals. This functionality automates content playback across multiple media sources with ease.
The new software transforms the FMP50 Series into a versatile solution for projects requiring multiple projectors, whether used independently or in combination. Its flexibility and precision make it suitable for a wide range of applications.
The FMP50 Series includes two box-type devices (ET-FMP50 and FMP20) and an Intel SDM-compatible function board (ET-SBFMP10). Designed for multi-projection environments, the compact FMP50 and FMP20 models can be installed near Panasonic projectors to reduce cabling or used in standard racks with an optional rack mount. They support 3840 x 2160p output via four HDMI connections, with multiple units synced for larger setups. The SBFMP10 model fits into a projector’s Intel SDM-ready slot to decode 3840 x 2160p signals, with device connections managed through a single LAN cable.
