Portrait Displays announced an expansion of its Calman Ready Program, continuing a 14-year partnership with Panasonic. Panasonic’s new 2025 flagship TVs—the W95B Mini LED TV and Z95B OLED TV—are now Calman-ready for automated color calibration. This update also introduces Calman color calibration technology to Amazon Fire TV devices. Portrait Displays worked with Panasonic to bring professional TV calibration capabilities to the Fire OS platform.

The W95B Mini LED TV features Hybrid Tone Mapping and a high-color-gamut backlight system, enhanced by precise color tuning. Powered by the HCX Pro AI Processor MK II, the TV offers improved color accuracy and HDR performance, even in challenging lighting environments. Gamers will benefit from ultra-low latency, Calman-calibrated Game Mode, and support for Dolby Vision Gaming at up to 144Hz.

The Z95B OLED TV uses a Primary RGB Tandem OLED panel and a ThermalFlow cooling system to deliver higher brightness, improved contrast, and enhanced color volume. Dolby Vision IQ Precision Detail further boosts its performance, while a redesigned 360-degree sound system, tuned by Technics, provides an immersive audio experience. Both TVs integrate with the Fire TV platform for seamless functionality.

This collaboration also highlights the growing impact of Portrait Displays’ Calibration-as-a-Service (CaaS). CaaS enables Calman retail partners to offer personalized TV calibration services based on customer preferences. Panasonic plays a significant role in making these calibration solutions accessible in retail environments. Along with Calibrated Game Mode, Panasonic devices now support calibrated Filmmaker Mode, simplifying the process for CaaS partners to deliver a “lens-to-living-room” experience.
