Pan Acoustics Releases P SW-112 Compact Subwoofer

pan acoustics p sw 112Pan Acoustics just added the P SW-112 compact subwoofer to its lineup. The 12” HQ woofer chassis made of birch plywood can drive up to 3600 watts (peak) power and 131 dB (peak) output levels. Ergonomic handles as well as a M20 pole mount for attaching a distance rod makes the design for both installs and rentals.

The subwoofer is available in one passive and three active versions:

  • The passive version of the P SW-112 is equipped with two NL4 connectors. Processing presets for power amplifiers of most common manufacturers are available and allow sound optimization, regardless of the selection of the power amplifier brand.
  • The active variant with the model name P SW-112 | SP offers a total of three input options from analog and AES/EBU using the Pan Net interface or via redundant Dante networks. Due to the headroom of the integrated amplifier, there is the option to connect an additional passive subwoofer via NL4 connection.

Using Pan Acoustics system software you can connect to the subwoofer via a Pan Net interface with USB or directly via Dante network and allows the control of the internal DSP. All active components are ideally matched with the speaker and additionally integrate a 5-band parametric equalizer, gain and delay (up to 370 ms).

The P SW-112 is available in black (RAL 9005) and white (RAL 9010). More details are here.
