Origin Acoustics announced the expansion of the company’s executive management team with the hiring of John Marchionda as its chief marketing officer (CMO) and the promotion of Marc Fisher as president of sales.
In his new position, Marchionda will drive global brand marketing efforts for Origin Acoustics. Marc Fisher’s new role will now embrace all facets of Origin’s global sales. The expansion of the company’s leadership team falls in line with its accelerated growth and strategic plans, and both will report to Nick Berry, Origin Acoustics CEO.
“John brings a tremendous track record executing strategy and market expansion, making him a welcome addition to our talented leadership team,” Berry said. “Marc’s promotion is well-deserved. Both John and Marc will help guide us as we expand the reach and depth of our global architectural audio brand and further enrich our world-class dealer support.”
Marchionda arrives at Origin Acoustics from SnapAV, where he identified and developed new business opportunities as Vice President of Business Development. Before Snap, he held executive and sales positions at Husqvarna Group, General Electric Polymershapes and ADC Telecommunications. Marchionda holds an MBA, international marketing from Virginia Tech and earned his bachelor’s degree in engineering from Rutgers University. Marc Fisher, previously VP of sales, joined the Origin Acoustics team in 2015. Fisher and his team consistently surpass sales and new dealer milestones.
“As founder and chairman, I couldn’t be more thrilled with the amazing sales and marketing leaders Origin Acoustics has attracted to help innovate and grow our thriving business,” said Origins founder Jeremy Burkhardt.
